    Description

    The earliest pieces of art pottery made by Poole in the period from 1900-1918 had rich luster glazes with almost a metallic sheen to them. By the early twentieth century, Poole Pottery began to produce more decorative and ornamental pottery intended for display, and since then they have never looked back. This is a Poole Pottery Art. It is called "LIVING GLAZE" because each layer of glaze reacts to the glaze it is applied on its base. It is marked, "Poole Pottery, England" and has the initials of the artist. It measures approx. 4” in height and is about 4” wide. it is in excellent condition- with no chips, hairlines cracks, discoloration, or repairs. Vintage -approx. 1960-70's
