The rugged, versatile SportHunter Series excels in all environments for trainers and is especially suited to upland and multi-dog hunting situations with communication versatility. With the comfortable "soft coat" transmitter finish, these units are a pleasure to use. Both the handheld remote transmitter and lightweight collar receiver are completely waterproof and submersible up to 25 feet. The lightweight collar receiver features a slim-profile and contoured shape that ensures a comfortable fit on the dog's neck. No matter what style of training you prefer, this system can provide it.
The SD-1225 can be expanded to control up to 3 dogs by adding SportDOG SDR-A Add-A-Dog Collar Receivers that have at least a 3/4 mile range capabiliy. The comfortable "soft coat" transmitter finish makes this unit a pleasure to handle. This is dog training gear the way you would design it.
You can customize your SportDOG SportHunter SD-1225 to match your training preferences. This static/stimulation collar comes set up in the standard 8-level continuous + 8-level momentary stimulation one dog collar with a non-stimulation tone button, but it can easily be changed into 7 different modes with different button configurations including vibration. The low continuous stimulation levels and gradual increases between levels on the SportHunter 1225 are particularly useful with sensitive dogs or breeds.
