    Description

    Pumpkin Patch
    The primitive rug hooking kit "Pumpkin Patch" celebrates the colors of autumn. Three pumpkins are surrounded by fall leaves, a gourd, an apple and a pear, of hand-dyed and off the bolt wool. The background is hand-dyed which compliments nicely with all the fall colors. I have hand drawn the pattern on linen and carefully drawn the lines on the grain. The dimensions are approximately 17" x 11" when hooked and the edges are sewn to keep them from fraying. When finished it makes a beautiful wall hanging or table top, or can
    be made into a pillow.

    Rug binding
    Most of the wool is #8 cut (1/4 inch) but the wool for the leaves, the gourd, the apple and the pear are #4 cut (1/8 inch). Those strips are in the bag labeled leaves.
