    POOLE POTTERY TRADITIONAL KN PATTERN SHAPE 288S JAM HONEY PRESERVES POT OR JAR
    This product data sheet is originally written in English.
    This wonderful Poole shape 288S jam pot was made in about 1960 and is decorated in the very pretty KN pattern, a floriana sprig design that is a simplified version of Minnie McLeish's original WW pattern, it was designed by Ruth Pavely in 1956
    The factory backstamp on the base was the one in use from 1959 to 1967 and the paintress mark is that of Patricia Wells (White) who was with the pottery from 1959 to 1973
    Overall it is 3.75" (9cm) high to the top of the lid, 3.5" (8.5cm) diameter at the widest point, the rim is 2.5" (6.5cm) diameter and it is in excellent undamaged condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration
    A very nice piece that will make a fine addition to your collection or a lovely gift
