Description
A six section Poole Pottery Hors d'Oevres dish that is decorated in the elaborate version of the very popular KUA seafood pattern. The factory marks indicate its was made between 1955 and 1959. The backstamp includes X E/KUA which indicates it was probably decorated by Gwen Haskins who was the
head paintress for many years and with the pottery from 1938 to 1977. The dish measures 13" from handle to handle and 12" across. It is beautifully painted in shades of green, blue, yellow, pink, black and purple with thin purple bands around each section and along each side of the rounded handles. It features a lobster, fish and a shell in the 3 large sections and plants in the 3 small sections. It is completely free of imperfections save one chip on the rim (see photos). Shipping
I ship USPS, UPS or FedEx - whichever is least expensive. Item/s will ship within 1 business day of receipt of cleared payment. At this time, I ship within the continental United States and to Canada. I will happily combine shipping on multiple orders placed within a one week period and paid for at one time. Most of the items I sell are fragile so shipping insurance is included as a shipping and handling fee in the price of the item/s. I do not charge any other handling fees.
Terms of Sale
Returns will be considered only if the item you receive has been grossly misrepresented. No returns will be accepted for buyer's remorse. If return is necessary, it must occur within 30 days of receipt of item. Return shipping to be paid by buyer and refund will be issued upon my receipt of item in same condition as when it was sent.
