Description

This is a wonderful old Poole Pottery hand painted English biscuit jar or, here, cookie jar.  It has a lovely lid and a raffia wrapped handle.  It is marked on the base with the Poole trademark and signed by the artist who hand painted the design.  The pottery has a satiny finish and the piece is in perfect condition.  It has a beautiful blush color interior.  It is 6 & 1/2" to the top of the knop on the lid and another 2" to the top of the raffia handle.  It is all original and has no chips, cracks, repairs or damage.  Most of the Poole Pottery on sale on eBay is in England.  This piece is in Portland, Oregon.  A beauty!
