WAS UPGRADED TO 26X BY RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) and is now #3 in the all-time best selling albums.  Not bad to have 2 out of 3 of the greatest selling albums of all time.

But this 16X RIAA Certified award from 2001 ordered by Asylum Records from my dad is historical in that - as in all of his creations - it was never available to the public, but made strictly for the record label to send out to DJ's,  Program Directors,  music executives & VIP's who helped in creating those 16-million sales.  I inherited his estate when he passed away at 91 years old in 2016 which had thousands of inventoried Gold & Platinum awards and hand-signed memorabilia from his 50 years in the music industry.
I am retired and list about 100 of his thousands of items at a time,  but add new items as listed items sell off.  A link is provided to review JUST CURRENT ones that I have listed.
His creativity in designing the awards for virtually every record label in the world spread throughout the years and he was called upon to make awards for nearly every Rock, Pop, Jazz and Gospel group that made it to the Gold or Platinum levels,  sometimes,  repeatedly.
I issue Certificates of Authenticity with a brief bio (backstory) on the provenance of the award with a name you provide me and an identical COA with no name so you can gift, sell or leave the award behind with a clean COA in the future.   Here's my item link:
