Beginner Starfish Primitive Rug Hooking KIT WITH #6 CUT WOOL STRIPS

This listing is for a complete rug hooking kit designed  and assembled by Sharon Perry. This kit which is suitable for the beginner or seasoned rug hooker comes with the following items:
100% wool fabric strips cut in #6 (3/16")
A  color photo of the finished piece along with the color key
Pattern drawn on a lovely cotton monks cloth
Easy to follow rug hooking instructions
Cotton  rug binding to finish it off once you have it hooked
A lot of people who are just starting out find the #8 1/4 inch strips of wool difficult to work with so I have created a few kits like this one with the thinner 3/16" (#6) strips which are easier to pull up through the foundation.
When completed  it measures 6 X 6  inches and would make a great wall hanging, candle or teapot mat, trivet,  or table centerpiece. Lots of people hang these little mats from country furniture or make small pillows out of them.  The star fish is hooked with a soft gray window pane plaid and mustard stripe and the background is hooked with a mixed tropical blues and teals ombre striped wool.
If this is your first project the only other things you will need are a frame to keep your pattern taut and a rug hook. I started off with a quilting hoop and did several rugs on that before switching to a floor frame. I think it's important to make sure you enjoy a hobby before spending a ton of money on supplies.
As for the hook I have Joan Moshimer size medium hooks listed for .50 but you can choose the option to add one to your kit for just .00 when you make your purchase.
