Beautiful New Old Stock (NOS) American Lock Padlocks, Series HT15, Model HT16.
These vintage locks have not been made since the 1990's. They are brand new in their original box and have never been used. All of theses locks are keyed different (KD).
These locks have a pick resistant 7 pin tubular key cylinder which provides over 50,000 key changes and meets National Automatic Merchandising Assoc (NAMA) standards.
The dimensions of these locks are identical to those of the current production American Lock AH11.  They are 2" wide hardened solid steel body & 7/16" thick hardened alloy steel shackle. The shackle clearance is 2" which is longer than the base model HT15.
Like all American Lock padlocks the shackle is locked by dual ball bearings which resist pulling and prying.
American Lock manufactured a version of the HT15 series for Harley Davidson in the 1970's and 1980's. This is the same lock with the exception of the logo on the case and the longer shackle (2" versus 1 - 1/16").
Also included is a key card that was packaged with some locks back in the day. These cards have not been included with locks for many years so they are quite a find.
