1889 Indiana State Fair Litho Poster—Original & Rare!

Description

Large, original lithograph poster for the 1889 Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis.  Dimensions of the poster are 25.5" by 33.5" (frame size is 36" by 44"-- hence local pickup only).  Incredible rarity and quite possibly the only surviving example from this year.  Condition is rough as seen in the photos.  Has not be examined out of frame-- likely mounted to mat board.  The quality of the lithography is outstanding.  Note the farmer on the harvester to the right of the woman on horseback.  Would be the centerpiece of any serious collection of Indiana State Fair memorabilia or Indiana historical material.   Can be picked up in person in Carmel, Indiana.
